Areas of interest

Besides my work and thesis, I have a passion for drawing and painting; charcoal, oil, pastels, so many chances to let my artistic impulses run wild.

A first exhibition enabled to present my work to the public in 2005: the Ras le Bol (cafe-expo) in Louvain-la-Neuve put forward a first series of sketches accompanied by their respective haiku.

"Bona valetudo melior est quam maximæ divitiæ", and that is why, I have been practicing conscientiously, since 2009, Ashtanga Yoga (Primary Series). The word Ashtanga comes from Sanskrit elements Asht-, meaning "eight" and Ang-, meaning "parts". It is literally a Yoga made of "eight parts" or "eight steps" that lead us to the unification of body and mind.

I prefer to see it just as a quest for some sort of harmony between the body, the mind and the environment that surrounds me.

Finally, I am an active member of Louvain-la-Neuve's GAC, an organized group of people who hold meetings each week in order to dscover and visit producers, place orders and distribute produces, and discuss about earth and human issues and solutions for yesterday, today and tomorrow.
