Accommodation
You can either book a room in a hotel in Louvain-la-Neuve or in Brussels, near the Grand Place.
A bus shuttle service will be organised every morning from Brussels to Louvain-la-Neuve
(see below).
We have booked a number of rooms in advance in different hotels of Brussels (in the historical centre) and Louvain-la-Neuve.
We advise you to make a booking as soon as possible since the rooms we have booked in advance are limited in number and will be cancelled in January 2004 (and available rooms will not be guaranteed anymore).
How to book a room?
Print the booking form corresponding to the hotel of your choice (see below), fill it in and fax it directly to the corresponding hotel.
All prices below include VAT and breakfast.
Accommodation in Brussels
Transfer Brussels-Louvain-la-Neuve
A bus shuttle service (free of charges) will be organised every morning
to Louvain-la-Neuve: depart in front of the Central Station, Rue Cardinal Mercier (it is very close to the IBIS Grand-Place Hotel: see
MAP
).
The return journey will be by train.
The
train journey from Louvain-la-neuve to Brussels
lasts 45 minutes and costs 3,90 euros (2 trains per hour).
The station (Gare Centrale) is close to the Grand Place and
therefore near the suggested hotels
(the closest hotels being the Ibis Grand Place and the
La Madeleine hotel, see maps).
If you plan to take our morning shuttle, please make your seat reservations asap by sending an
email to Michel Thomas (thomas@tedm.ucl.ac.be). Please, specify for which
day(s) you want to make a reservation (Wed.10 Thu.11 Fri.12).
